This Vodafone Coverage Checker concept aimed to be the best in the world. By collecting model and location data from the customer’s device, a heat-map indicating signal strength would be displayed and allow the user to see outages in their area and report outages themselves.
The Challenge
This project presented a host of technical and stakeholder challenges but the main UI challenge was one which aimed to give the user the desired amount of information without overloading them cognitively (mental indigestion).
