UX, CX and Service Design

Hi, I am Mauricio Perez. A Human Centred Design (HCD) Strategist in Sydney, Australia. I specialise in Service Design, User Experience (UX) and Customer experience (CX). This means I make your products and services better for your users, customers, citizens and even staff by placing their needs at the centre of the design process.

Together we work by finding the right problem through research, analysis and synthesis. Only then, we can find the right solutions through design, testing and iteration. I work across government, financial, health and communication sectors. I have a passion for accessibility, inclusive, environmental and ethical design practices

Human-centred design process

1. Align

Let’s talk in detail about how you might define the success of your product or service. Sometimes, we may need to engage other stakeholders to align on the same vision of success.

2. Discover

Let’s look into your organisation, stakeholder and customer needs, experiences and pain points. We then share our findings and collaborate to prioritise any challenges to solve.

3. Design

Let’s focus on the most important challenges and co-design solutions with your stakeholders. They can start as rough sketches or even high-fidelity prototypes to test with people.

4. Refine

Let’s test prototypes with people for the right experiences. As we learn  and iterate the solutions, we can share the results with other stakeholders for delivery of related teams, systems and procedures.

5. Iterate

Let’s improve the service continuously by understanding customer experiences with your service. We can measure the success of the products and prioritise challenges for the future.
